Unimog (German Mercedes-Benz Unimog, UniversalMotorgerät – universal transport device) is a family of universal German truck-terrain vehicles for special use (there is a wide range of additional attachments) and transportation in extreme conditions. The first model was developed in 1945, serially produced since 1949, and since 1951 the production is absorbed by the Daimler-Benz concern and all-terrain vehicles are produced under the Mercedes-Benz brand.
